In today's network,the problem of excessive energy consumption has aroused widely concern,excessive ene rgy consumption not only increases the operating cost of the network,but also creates a great impact on the global environment.Thus,in recent years,a variety of energy-saving technology of internet has become a research hotsp ot.But the traditional network is difficult to solve the problem of excessive energy consumption fundamentally,w e must redesign a revolutionary future network architecture.Sleep of network is an important method to solve the problem of energy consumption.This article is based on the future network studying the sleep mechanism in futur e network.Firstly,this thesis introduces the research background and meaning of sleep mechanism in future network,e mphasizing the urgency of creating environment friendly and engery saving future network and analyzing the rese arch status and important result seized of future network and sleep mechanism in future network inland and abroa d.Secondly,this article summarize the method of future network and sleep mechanism in future network,analsing the several mainstream of future network structure including the origin and applicable situation.This thesis also p ut stress on studying the mainstream sleep mechanism in future network,comparing the advantages and disadvant ages of different sleep mechanism methods.What is more,this thesis mainly study the the Openflow network and DTN network of future network.In Openflow network,this thesis studies the network node dormancy and link do rmancy in the framework,and present the detailed algorithm process,what is more according to the results of sim ulation analysing the energy saving effect of two kinds dormancy scheme.In DTN networks,we study the networ k architecture of the adaptive asynchronous clock dormancy and the key research is on the basis of the research E ACDS algorithm and MACDS algorithm based on cyclic difference set.In addition,analying the energy saving ef fect according to the results of simulation analysis algorithm and different influences on the network operation at different dormancy levels of different algorithms.Finally,make a summarization and expectation of the dormancy mechanism of future network research.
