Research On CDMA 2000 Network Optimization Technology And Its Applications

With the widely deployment of the 3rd generation mobile communication(3G) networks, wireless internet has been shown rapid growth. There has been an increasing requirements for wireless data service with better performance including data transmission rate,connection time and quality of service, etc. CDMA 2000 technology is the most maturity technique in 3G, which leads a growing demand for CDMA 2000 network optimization. This thesis presents a comprehensive study on CDMA 2000 network optimization technology and its application in Jiangsu Telecom.Firstly, this thesis introduces the origin and development of mobile communications,especially the technology features and applications analysis of 3G networks. Secondly,a comprehensive analysis of CDMA 2000 principles and key technologies are provided including system architectures. Some major problems in CDMA 2000 network optimization are discussed in detail combined with the analysis of current status of Jiangsu Telecom CDMA 2000 networks. The actual network situation has deeply analyzed and optimized the signal coverage problems for some typical scenarios, i.e. residential area, university campus and the highspeed rail, which has obtained good results.
