Application Of C-DOCSIS Technology In JSCN Broadband Business

For satisfying high bandwidth service bearing and operations management needs,based on the mature DOCSIS 3 technology, C-DOCSIS achieves centralized management, configuration and scheduling of systems by deploying CMC Controller in the computer room. CMC in various optical nodes,, ccombined with the technical advantages of optical packet network and DOCSIS, full use of traditional frequency division multiplexing and time division multiplexing technology, C-DOCSIS can achieve higher user access bandwidth, reduce the cost of system deployment and maintenance.Based on the specification of DOCSIS and C-DOCSIS,this paper,introduces the networking scheme of C-DOCSIS, discusses the necessity and feasibility of JSCN DOCSIS transformation. Meanwhile, combined with the actual situation of JSCN broadband business development, this paper researches and analyzes OLT+CMC method of JSCN, transformation of,the original computer room on the CMTS network,improvement of the service configuration. According to the model of 250 households, C-DOCSIS equipments are deployed in the Pilot Areas, so as to achieve the successful application of C-DOCSIS technology in JSCN broadband business.In the end, C-DOCSIS transformation has been completed in the village station pilot areas. The performaces of C-DOCSIS, such as high-density deployment, high bandwidth business and centralized management, multi service QoS, satisfy JSCN access network demand.
