Design Of Procurement Service Management System For Sichuan Honghang Group

The rapid development of information technology brings tremendous changes to market environment. Procurement management system reflects the advanced management ideas, which has important significance on improving enterprise management level.In the commercial trade, procurement is an essential part of the company’s corporate activities. The intensity of competition in the market requires companies to improve their procurement management level and perform effective management in order to meet with to the development of enterprise and commercial trade. The traditional way, which is confined to the domestic enterprises on decisions and faces so many competitors nowadays, must extend to the global and do business according to international rules. There are mainly two changes. On one hand, vertical procurement model is adopted by more and more enterprises; on the other hand, the enterprise itself has many problems unresolved, for example, the communication and coordination among the procurement, logistics, librarian, and financial departments is slow and inefficient, which increases the company’s operating costs and reduces the overall efficiency.Procurement management system can solve above problems so that the procurement service of the entire group becomes simple, efficient, and standardized, which reduces operating costs, improves efficiency, and allows employees to get rid of the original cumbersome approval process. Procurement management system can ensure the accuracy and reasonableness of planned procurement to enhance the competitiveness of enterprises and to help reduce employee stress and improve corporate culture.Based on the consideration for cross-platform, ease of use, rapid development and other aspects, the procurement management system is designed and realized by using B/S architecture. The function modules are developed with JAVA language and MYSQL database. The communication problems are solved by network technology based TCP / IP protocol technology.This thesis mainly did following jobs:1. Based on the topic initiation, significance and practical value, this paper introduced the status of domestic and foreign procurement service management system and analyzes the requirements of procurement service management system;2. This thesis described the theory and related technology of procurement service management system, and completed the design of procurement service management system for Sichuan Honghang Group;3. This thesis designed and built the background database;4. This thesis implemented and tested the procurement service management system for Sichuan Honghang Group;5. This thesis summarized the procurement service management system for Sichuan Honghang Group.
