With the rapid development of national economy, the scale of the road-transportation industrial is improving rapidly. As industry carrier, the car has an extremely important status, but in the face of a growing number of cars, traffic safety problems are becoming more and more serious. The study found that traffic problems were increasing every year because of tire accident, especially for particularly serious traffic accidents caused by burst and leakage, and when in blowout accident, it was difficult to handle in time. With the improving safety awareness of people and coming relevant laws and regulations, more and more people concern for TPMS. TPMS, the full name is Tire Pressure Monitoring System, namely the tire pressure monitoring system. It is mainly used to protect the safety of drivers, monitor real-time of automobile tire pressure data, and it will conduct alarm and warning processing when an exception occurs in the tire pressure. Now the research of TPMS mainly divided into a form of direct and indirect, in addition, the direct type reads sensor data directly, the indirect type estimates the tire pressure by comparing tire rotation speed, but the-two ways are in order to get real-time tire pressure data and monitoring to ensure the safty of the drivers.In this paper, the author studies TPMS is based on the direct tire pressure monitoring system, and by means of external sensor installed on the tire and the bluetooth serial port module sending tire pressure data to the Android phone to monitor real-time tire pressure in the form of terminal display. Due to the pressure gauge measurement has certain error in reading the tire pressure sensor data and practical data, in this article, we calibrated the sensor through the linear regression analysis and apply this model to terminal system. The main contents are as follows:Firstly, in this paper, we introduced the basic theory including the TPMS architecture and Android terminal related technologies, such as bluetooth communication, jiguang push, baidu map and database technology, etc.Secondly, this paper focused on the overall design of the tire pressure monitoring module, including mobile terminal receiving, parsing, showing the specific process pressure data. In addition, it solved the data encoding, radio frequency mode, data format, bluetooth communication and sensor ID matching problem, and ultimately display real-time tire pressure information in a friendly terminal interface.What’s more, with specific application environment as a start point, this paper used the linear regression analysis technique to calibrate pressure sensor in experimental, and getted a linear model and apply this model to the actual terminal system, fully guaranteed the accuracy of the terminal system display data, to apply a crucial role in transport safety. This paper also explored the relationship between the tire load and pressure or deformation quantity in the form of experiment preliminary.Finally, the paper designed a detail terminal system of the overall architecture and function modules, elaborating the design of the terminal system of each sub-function modules in system interface and the implementation of the corresponding function.Through this topic research of TPMS. which sent more accurte real-time pressure data to the intelligent terminals, this could realize real-time monitoring function, and had a good user interactivity, in addition, it had certain appilication value in the direction of vehicular networking at the same time.
