A Method For Playing Large Computer Games On Android Terminal

In recent years, with the development of mobile technology and the maturing ofinformation consumption environment, the mobile device as an information receivingand processing terminal, become a daily essential goods of people. That smart phonesand tablet PCs are particularly typical. Beacause there are so many applications for them,which facilitate people’s learning and life. High-profile mobile terminal, however, thereis still a performance bottleneck. Big games that can run on PC but can not run on themobile platform, which limits people’s entertainment needs. In this context, this paperaimed at achieving a method that a large computer games to play on the Androidterminal. And this method would be achieved by the SPICE protocol based systemMySpice. The system that consits of a client software Spicecdroid based on Androidplatform and a server software Spiceserver based on Windows can provideentertainment experience of easy and smooth operation of War3on Android mobile.The paper used the remote display on the mobile phone to the purpose of playingcomputer games. The paper’s system based on C/S mode, that the game run on server（The PC）, and the client（Android termninal） could get the game screen whichcaptured from the server side and delivered via Game streams, and server will respondto the operation of the client. The main research of this paper are as follows:1. Analysis of remote desktop services transfer protocol, such as RDP, ICA, RFB,PCoIP and SPICE protocol. By comparing of these protocols, the paper finally choosethe SPICE protocol as transfer protocol.2. Study SPICE system and understand its structure and principle.3. Present the development environment and basic technology of the MySpice.4. Design and Implementation of MySpice System.5.Do system testing and basic functional verification of MySpicesystem,ultimately, in the form of pictures to show the system’s operating results.
