“Storage Management and Practice” is the core course of logistics. The logistics management information system has become an important support technology to economic development and operation. This thesis focuses on the workflow systematization based on the actual demand of storage management. The software system is designed to apply for teaching, which can improve the abilities of students in the aspects of training and learning.The professional background and teaching idea are analyzed in this thesis. The general demand, function and process of storage management and practice are analyzed and designed and finally a set of practical functions are realized. Based on the Microsoft SQL Server 2008 database, a database system with 20 relational tables are designed, which consists of the infrastructure management such as storehouse, region, and goods, operations management such as storage library, inventory management, and reported loss management, and statistical query management functions such as real-time inventory, inventory changes, alarm query management. At last, the Visio Studio 2010 platform and C# language are used to finish compiling the whole system. The system function is complete with a large amount of statistical output code, which can be directly output to the Excel table. System modules and sub-modules have been tested normally.The design and compilation have been completed for the current system and it has been tested in the small scale. The system can be effectively applied for teaching and learning of the course of “Storage Management and Practice”.
