Design And Implementation Of The Precious Metals Business Management System

With the establishment of the Shanghai Gold Exchange in October 2002, domestic commercial banks, especially the five state-owned commercial banks rising their participation in precious metals trading quickly, the amount of bank trading in precious metals trading grew rapidly, precious metals business has played an important role in banking business, while most of the bank’s precious metals business are handled in manual, the account book are recorded by excel, and the monitoring staff can not get them in time, clearing and accounting are also handled by hand processing, report forms are collected by hand. Due to the separating of all the three parts, which limit the development of the bank’s precious metals business, lower the ability to identify the trading risk and operational risk, and make the Operational risk become uncontrollable.This paper based on the development trend of the bank’s precious metal, research the bank’s precious metals business type, study the feasibility of system, describe requirements analysis based on business needs. Using maturity technology in nowadays for implementing the whole system, it is designed and architected based on the international and domestic standards technical specifications of the hardware and software in computer science. Then it is easy to management the bank’s dollar gold transactions and Shanghai gold transactions, manage the leasing business in the bank and customer leasing business with the branch banks, get the acquisition prices data of precious metals in time, detect precious metals exposure in time and valuate the market value of the transactions, get the gold dollar’s swift payment messages, record data of precious metals trading transactions, get and statistical report data and for business units and dock the precious metals system with the other systems inside and outside of the bank. By integrating the operations of the whole precious metals business transaction management, it is easy to free the business people from the complex manually operations, and can also reduce the risks associated with customer transactions. The main technology used in the system are Spring and Mybatis, using the layered architecture technology divided the system into user interaction layer, interactive control layer, business service layer, public service layer, data access layer and the data storage layer, so that each level only focus on the logic business of their owe, reduce the dependence between the two levels to achieve the purpose of decoupling. Technologies used in user interaction layer are SpringMVC, JSP, Jquery and easyUI. Technology used in Interactive control layer, service layer and public services is Spring. Data access layer use Mybatis framework which encapsulated database operations to operate the oracle database to implements the functions of data storage layer.
