The changes of seawater temperature will impact on phytoplankton, also will affect the photosynthesis of plants. According to the various parameters of each kind of algae can get the trends followed with temperature changes, this method can he a comprehensive assessment of seawater temperature variation effects on phytoplankton photosynthesis, this paper presents a measuerment system of phytoplakton chlorophyll fluorescence base on FPGA.According to this design, one of Altera’s Cyclone IV series FPGA EP4CE55F23I7 is used as the system control core. The timing-driven module of ADC and driven module of LED excitation are implemented in the logic units of FPGA. Based on the SOPC, NIOS Ⅱ processor, serial communication module and SDRAM storage module are integrated. The software about spectra line drawing and analysis, system parameters set is developed on upper computer software. Aiming at the design of the proposed system has carried on an experiment,the result show that according to the measuring system designed by this method can synchronize data acquisition, real-time processing and displaying of chlorophyll fluorescence spectral data, that is OJIP curve.
