This thesis studies POLDER`s ocean colour processing line, and develops a new atmosphere correction algorithm of ocean colour processing line, and POLDER`s aerosol products are used to corrct atmosphere.Basing high precise aerosol product, it can be high precision to derive the leaving-water radiance. The POLDER is equipped with polarized channels--443nm, 670nm, 865nm. Theoretically, compared with other camera measuring aerosol optic thickness using these polarized bands, the precision of the deriving aerosol optic thickness can be better; The self-contained atmosphere product algorithm have been developed by the CNES, and they produced every kind product with the POLDER1 and POLDER2 data. However, by means of high precision atmosphere product, it is valuable to peel off the ocean aerosol signal and to get the High precision of leaving–water.The ocean color processing of POLDER: to detract the contribution of aerosol of the received satellite signal, to compute and get the leaving-water reflectivity of ocean surface, the using aerosol product of other satellite. The aerosol contribute must be detracted, because there are aerosol signal contained in the TOA reflectance received by the camera. The CNES lab developed a suit of algorithm, the optical thickness derived from MODIS are used to subtract the aerosol contribute, to correct the influence of the aerosol. Base on these fact, it has to be bring forward that the aerosol product of POLDER, as in put data, are used to correct the atmosphere aerosol. Not only there are theoretical according, but also practice condition.Because of lacking of field spectral data, this thesis compares chlorophyll-a conccentration and POLDER`s chlorophyll-a conccentration.The chlorophyll-a, which was computed by the ocean color algorithm, was compared with the chlorophyll-a of POLDER. The chlorophyll-a concentration can be calculated through atmosphere correction, including the above aerosol correction. The POLDER`s algorithm of ocean color have two different empirical model, and they are experimental and statistical models and can be downloaded on network. So, POLDER has two chlorophyll-a products, and they are delivered on network and can be downloaded conditionally.
