Ad Hoc networks is different from the traditional IP networks and centralized WLAN networks, it is a self-organizing and wireless networks with dynamic topology and limited resource. Traffic transmission in Ad Hoc networks and traditional networks is not the same, for the traffic transmission in Ad Hoc networks is also very different from traditional IP networks. Therefore, how to effectively control the QoS in Ad Hoc networks has become an important research focuses.On the other hand, with the development of network technology, the user’s personalized demand more and more prominent, the network service also to diversified development. For more and more different characteristics of the service, how to reasonably allocate resources according to service characteristics, and for the QoS control is also becoming more and more important. Therefore, to distinguish service according to the different characteristics, and a comprehensive evaluation of the importance of business is an effective means.In the traditional study, is not reasonable assess the traffic priority. In most of the standard, the traffic priority were predefined. Then control the traffic QoS according to the contract when traffic is transmitted in the network. The predefine of traffic priority neglect the characteristics of traffic. Besides, it can not distinguish the diversity of traffic.There, we using the fuzzy hierarchy analysis(FAHP) method that commonly used in Management Science to evaluate the importance of traffic, we proposed the FAHP based traffic importance evaluation scheme.Computing the importance of traffic through this method can measure the degree of traffic importance more scientific and reasonable, to provide differentiated services for traffic based on this evaluation results also has its rationality.This paper also put forward the traffic importance based on Ad Hoc network QoS control model.A solution are put forward for the differentiated service in Ad Hoc network.We proposing traffic classification & marking strategy and traffic importance based packet scheduling strategy.Finally, we implement the traffic evalution software and Ad Hoc network QoS control experimental platform.Through the Java Swing to implement the management and evaluation user interface, and based on Linux TC implement QoS control algorithm. After the experimental test and experiment, the corresponding experimental results and analysis are given.
