Electric actuatoris one kind of common actuator.with multi-point positioning, high positioning accuracy, etc. Electric actuator is widely used in many fields and researched.To save energy and reduce operating costs, users willconsiderthe operating energy consumption of the actuator on the actual operating condtions when they choosing the actuator. Electric actuator ismechatronic product, whichis composed of multiple components highly integrated; thatenergy consumption of all parts is closely related to the operating condition that makes the operating energy consumption of the electric actuator can’t be directly and simplycalculated outlike other actuators.If we cancaculateout the operating energy consumption of the electric actuator according to working conditions,that will provide reference forreasonable division of labor and choosing actorsfrom the perspective of operating energy consumption and achieve energy conservation and emissions reduction.This paper choses LEFS25AB-500B-R16 Nmodel electric actuator as the research object.theoperating energy consumption of the electric actuator is studied; the test system of theoperating energy consumptionis designed; a large number of test were carried out;By the data acquired from the test and studying, analyse the characteristics of the operating energy consumption of the electric actuator and the energy operating consumptionimpact of the operatingcondtions.The electric actuator’s structure, working principle and operation characteristics is studied.the composition of the operatingenergy consumption of electric actuator and the factors affecting the operating energy consumption were analyzed.Base on this, the operating energy consumption of various parts for the electric actuator:controller loss, loss of permanent magnet synchronous motor, mechanical movement has carried on the theoretical analysis and modeling of energy consumption, on this basis, the physical model of energy consumption of electric actuator is established.According to the electric actuator characteristics and test conditions, the design and building energy consumption of the test system, the design and implementation of test system are analyzed in detail.For horizontal and vertical two types of installation, for different load, different acceleration and speed, a lot of series.on different conditions such as effective displacement and comprehensive experiment, get a lot of experiment data.Comprehensive analysing the experiment data, strive to build the actual energy consumption of the approaching physical model, and according to different working conditions of electric actuator and makes the corresponding test results.According to the experimental data and related theory knowledge, respectively analyzes the installation method, load, speed, acceleration, stroke for electric actuator parts and the impact of the total energy consumption, energy consumption for the different working condition of the electric actuator and makes the corresponding test results.Conclusion:under the same conditions, the operating energy consumption of the vertical installed electrical actuatorlargerthan the horizontal installation;The operating energy consumption is positively related to the load;With the increasing of the speed, the operating energy consumption of the electric actuator is smaller;The lager the acceleration, the greater the electric actuator operating energy consumption;The operating energy consumption increasing with the stroke, but it is not linear relationship between them.
