The Design And Implementation Of The Recruitment Information Management System

As human society steps into the era of information technology, IT has penetrated into every aspect of human social practice. Military field is no exception; the next war is named information warfare. It’s a key step to carry forward the army information construction so that to realize our goal to win the information war, and it is the only way to make PLA as a strong army. As an important component of national defense construction, conscription has entered the information age in major powers in the world. What incompatible with this is that our conscription work still applies the way of mechanized era, which is labor-intensive and inefficient. Therefore we try to design the recruitment management information system, and this paper mainly finishes the following work:Firstly, we have summarized the conscription work of world’s major powers, analyzed their development history and practice of recruitment management information system, and after that analyzed the recruitment work in our country.Secondly, the paper studies the technologies commonly used in the development of management information system, such as.NET, ASP.NET and SQL SERVER. On the basis of analysis and argumentation, B/S structure is selected as the basic architecture of our MIS.Thirdly, the paper analyzes the feasibility, system requirements and system function before starting the process of developing the system. After that the organization of the work draft structure, main function and division of the different sectors are researched. On such basis, the paper completes the overall design of the system.Fourthly, the paper designs the system core database from the database concept and the database table structure. And the concepts of database structure are deeply analyzed, after which the paper makes detailed description of the database entity relationship diagram. After above all, the paper finishes the design of the database table structure.Fifthly, the paper realizes the information management system. The system is divided into two online registration and conscription management subsystems, and both two subsystems are implemented respectively. After that the paper studies the major security threat of the system, and proposes three security mechanisms to enhance the system security, which are role-based access control mechanism, DOS attack prevention mechanism and database security enhancement module.
