Network technology plays an important role in people’s life, network has been integrated into many fields with its rapid development. Combining the remote monitoring technology with network technology has become the inevitable trend, it has important significance in industry, medical treatment, traffic and etc. The development direction of modern industry is automation, the condition monitoring of equipment in industry has important significance for the smooth production. If the abnormal state of the equipment is not found in advance and cause damage, the production will be made stop and a high maintenance cost will be paid. At the same time, along with the scale of the equipment monitoring system is more and more big, there are many problems, such as the equipment management difficulties, diversification of device drivers, system coupling problem, they are urgently needed to be solved during the development of monitoring system.In this paper, the remote monitoring system based on network technology is researched. First, the technical development and principle of remote monitoring system is introduced, we discuss the application of network technology in remote monitoring,and from three aspects of software development approach is expounded, and a brief analysis of the problems existing in the system of remote monitoring, writing groundwork for below. On the virtual instrument from the concept and composition of the overall description of the development platform of virtual instrument software Lab VIEW made a simple analysis. In this paper, the third part is mainly about the remote equipment condition monitoring system hardware designing, with themonitoring of rotate machine the chemical pump group as the main use, we design the hardware structure and the specific modules in system, including the selection of sensor, the design of the signal conditioning circuit, the selection of data acquisition card and the design of equipment assembly mode. Considering of the complexity of equipment application environment, a variety of measures to improve system stability has been used to ensure the system accuracy and stability. The fourth part is mainly about the designing of the remote equipment system software, each module of the system is designed based on the LabVIEW virtual instrument development platform, including data acquisition module, the file I/O module, data processing module, historical dataquery module and network transmission module, and analyzing the key technologies used in it.The purpose of this design is to realize condition monitoring of rotating machinery vibration of chemical plant, and to ensure safety in production in chemical plant machinery and equipment, improve product quality, reduce the cost of equipment management, reduce technicians working strength, and ensure the sustainable development of enterprises.
