The relationship between time integrating acousto-optic correlator signal time-delay and correlation peak was theoretically researched and experimented in the thesis, and the accurate linearly relationship was given as well.According to the principle of time-integrating acousto-optic correlation processing, experimental system was designed and constructed. In terms of optical system, optical structure was designed, the method of selecting optical components was analyzed, and the entire optical system was adjusted. What‘s more, in the ALINX406 development board, the Baker code and pulse modulation signal and their time delay signal were generated by programming in Verilog HDL.In the non-coherent time-integrating acousto-optic correlator, Brag-device‘s non-linear diffraction efficiency, light source inhomogeneous, etc. would cause diffraction light produced by acousto-optic deflectors distributing inhomogeneous. To resolve this problem and accurately locating Baker Code correlation peak heterodyne signal processing was adopted. By theory derivation, the Baker Code correlation peak would appear in the right or left end of the diffraction of light wave if there was no time-delay between signals. At the same time, the relationship between the Baker Code correlation peak width and pulse correlation peak width was theoretically analyzed, and the result of the Baker Code correlation peak width is two times of pulse correlation peak width was settled, which was simulated in Matlab and can be the basis of judging the location of Baker Code correlation peak.By theoretical derivation, if Brag-device‘s modulation signal is ahead of the laser?s modulation signal, the Baker Code correlation peak would shift to the left end as the time-delay‘s increment, which was simulated in matlab.In the end,the experiment data were collected and processed,and the accurate linearly relationship between timedelay and correlation peak was established and included the precision of measure.
