Traditional radar adopts digital receiver,although it has the characteristics of high calculation precision,it can not process large amount of data in real time,while the acousto-optic signal processing technology can make up for this shortcoming.It is widely used in modern communication and radar signal processing for its small size,low power consumption,strong real-time performance and simple structure.In this paper,a chaotic radar system based on acousto-optic signal processing is designed,and the radar experimental system is built and the system is tested.Based on the design and development of chaotic radar acousto-optic receiver,this paper mainly introduces the hardware design of the prototype,and expounds the following work:1.The types of common radar receivers are summarized,and their advantages and disadvantages are compared.In this paper,the working principle of acousto-optic receiver is analyzed,and the radar system based on acousto-optic receiver is designed.2.Device selection is introduced based on the working principle of radar,expounds the relationship between the device parameters and radar parameters,emphatically introduces the signal source,acousto-optic modulator,laser and image sensor selection.3.A radar system is set up which uses Boolean chaotic random code as the signal source,and the radar ranging performance is verified.The maximum error in the test is not more than 1m,the highest resolution is 1.3m,the maximum measurement distance is about 116 m,and the SNR is 15.92 dB.4.The radar experimental system is integrated into a prototype,and the radar receiver prototype is designed and produced.And the bundled software is written using LabVIEW software.
