Since the concept of cloud computing have been proposed, it has been a great promotion and development in recent years. Many Industry vendors come out not only strategies,ideas and products of cloud computing one after another,but also the key technologies of cloud computing presents a flourishing situation. Cloud computing is a new business model.Combined the advantages of grid computing and virtual technology, cloud computing has the characteristics of dynamic scalability and flexibility. The resources, packaged in cloud computing,has been provided as a service for users. The terminal user can get cloud resources via the internet and pay a fee based on the actual situation.With the expansion of cloud computing platform scale, not only has its management and deployment costs been increasing,but the stability of the system has been facing serious challenges.It is a hot research topic about how to keep the stable operation of the cloud platform,manage it effectively,simply its deployment process and improve its safety and reliability. Cloud resource monitoring system is one of the main components of the cloud platform and plays an important role in ensuring the safety and quality of service of the cloud platform,so the research about cloud resource monitoring system is very meaningful.Firstly, I did research on the architecture of cloud computing and cloud monitoring system and analyzed the key issues when design cloud resource monitoring system.Through analysis of the existing monitoring system, I am in-depth focused on three aspects analysis of cloud resource monitoring system and put forward mine own ideas and perspectives to solve. The three aspects is salability of cloud resource monitoring system, fault diagnosis and alarm systems,surveillance data processing.Secondly, In order to master the demand of cloud resource monitoring system,I has analyzed the cloud service hierarchy and abstracted monitoring entities of cloud platform. According to the demand of cloud resource monitoring system and real-time requirements about monitoring data,I draw lessons from Bionic Autonomic Nervous System(BANS) to design the whole structure of cloud resource monitoring system.At the same time, I has also been designed the communication architecture and protocols,command-line interface and the Database of this system in detail. In the last, I implement the cloud resource monitoring system.Finally, I has deployed the cloud resource monitoring system in CAOS cloud platform,tested this system in lab and analyzed the test results. Through the tree tests of the cloud resource monitoring system functions,page setup and memory data storage, it has verified the reliability and usefulness of the system.Through research and implementation of cloud resource monitoring system, I has discussed the shortcomings of the cloud resource monitoring system and deficiencies in the actual development.It will play a reference and guidance effect on future commercialization of the cloud monitoring system.
