Cloud computing distributes all kinds of heterogeneous and dynamic resource in the cloudcomputing platform which forms a huge virtual resource pool; as a result, cloud users couldaccess to services in accordance with the demand. Reliability of the cloud platform depends onthe stability. Stable operation of cloud platform can be guaranteed through real-time statusmonitoring of virtual node and cloud services.It is designed to achieve cloud computing platform resource monitor system by theintegration of cloud platform architecture learning and cluster monitoring technology andrequirements of the existing cloud computing platform monitoring. The system monitorsdynamic graphical virtual node and cloud services with configurable features; it establishes abasis for cloud platform which provides efficient and stable service.The main work includes:(1)it is to achieve the monitoring on basic resource of virtualnode in cloud platform, cloud network services and application server status, and refiningmonitoring granularity;(2)according to RRD’s(Round Robin Database) feature key-valuestorage type and ring storage of time-series data, it is to select RRD complete the monitoringdata storage;(3)due to the cloud platform dynamic characteristics, the system can be configuredbased on the ideology to achieve monitoring flexibility and scalability, when virtual nodedynamic change, the system can well adapt to these changes;(4) it is to improve the real-timenature and reliability of the system by adding a fault management and a warning notice.The warning notice “four-in-one cloud computing monitoring system” designed andimplemented with the features of “protection of data acquisition, graphical display, and flexibleconfiguration”. Moreover, application of the above work provides virtual nodes and cloudservices work properly and smoothly.
