In the western developed countries, the accounting firm is known as the "Economic Police" or "Economic Referees".With the development of economy, large number of foreign-funded enterprises enter China, among which as the representative of the foreign accounting firms, the "big four" also entered to China. After hundreds of years of development, their technical level and management level has exceeded domestic firms. To compete with them, domestic firms must continue to improve the business level, become bigger and stronger, even roll into strong-strong combination besides improving the level of management. At present the national firms are enhancing their own development, and in the merger of a large number of smaller firms, therefore, management has become a bottleneck restricting the development of accounting firms, the low-level management restricts the rapid development of the whole industry.The accounting firm is one kind of project organization with high-knowledge content, and so its development depends on the professional services provided by the knowledge-type staff. The accounting firm has its particularity in the customer relationship management, project management, personnel management, knowledge sharing, workflow etc. The pure manual management will bring many difficulties to the management, including too much personal factors. The application of information technology in accounting firms provides a good management mechanism and a good management control platform, integrating more theory, improving competitiveness, and so has become the inevitable trend of development.The firm’s management is mainly reflected in two aspects: the business management and the human resource management. The management of the business is mainly reflected in the impartiality and independence in the process of business operation; human management is mainly reflected in the staff appointment appointment, cost management and employee incentive. The information system starts from the above two aspects, in which the firm’s business and human resources are fully considered. So the firm’s management is completely accomplished by the system, so we can improve the work efficiently, and standardize the multi-level and omnibus management firm.Based on the research situation in domestic and abroad, starting from the demand analysis, we develop an information system. In this paper, we explained the selection of development tools and database, made an analysis about the idea in system design and discussed the function after the implementation. We optimized the design of the system from the management mode, human resources, business process, financial management, staff appointment, expense reimbursement bonus, and several other aspects. Finally, in this paper we also do some planning on the office management system for further improvement.
