This thesis studies the status of the development of RFID technology at home and abroad as well as the current RFID research status of the management in hazardous material, and summarize the advantages and disadvantages of the existing hazardous material logistics system. Based on the research,the WISP-based hazardous material logistics system was developed. This system uses WISP replacing the ordinary RFID tag to make up the deficiencies in the safety monitoring of hazardous material,which exiting in the current hazardous material logistics system.This thesis introduces how to design a logistics system which can perserve the hazardous material and generate warning information based on the sensor data when the hazardous material go beyond the normal standards,based on the basic functions of the exiting logistics system and the status which the exiting hazardous material logistics system can not perserve the hazardous material. This system can read the sensor data of hazardous material regularly and stores the data in the back-end database, which is processed by the back-end system.The system consists of three parts, respectively is WISP, middleware and back-end logistics system. The WISP software is developed by using MSP430-C and assembly language, which making WISP not only have the perception function but also have the function that the common label should have. Middleware program is coded by Java,which can receive configuration file from server and configure the reader by the configuration file to read WISP information.After acquiring data, the middleware upload the data to the server. The back-end logistics system is developed by J2 EE in MVC development mode, which using the SSH architecture to ensure the development simple and lightweight. The logistics system not only achieves the basic functions of order management, warehouse management and system management, but also realize the security warning funciton according to the sensing information in WISP.Using WISP to replace the ordinary label in hazardous material logistics system, not only realize the function of identify the role of dangerous goods that ordinary labels also can, but also perceive the hazardous material, in order to better monitor the safety of hazardous material and protect the safety of the people’s life and production.
