The number of hazardous chemicals gas cylinders used in China is increasing each year. The gas cylinders accident is a common occurrence in recent years, for many human errors in operation or the lack of the effective supervision in the use process of the gas cylinder, which poses a unnegligible threat to people's life and property safety and the environmental protection.The government enacts a series of the Dangerous Goods Safety Supervision Ordinance, and pays higher attention to the gas cylinder safety. To meet the current needs of the dangerous goods safety supervision, RFID technology is created as an effective technical means, instead of traditional one such as barcode.Firstly, this article studies the RFID technology, database technology, network technology, data encryption technology and other advanced technologies applied in the key techniques of the hazardous chemicals gas cylinder safety supervision, all of which has a broad application prospect. Secondly, on the basis of analyzing specific needs of hazardous chemicals gas cylinder safety of regulated industries, it introduces the RFID in the application process of closed-loop dynamic management model including the gas cylinder aeration, distribution, application and examination, and design patterns of RFID-based hazardous chemicals gas cylinder supervision system. Finally, it presents the improvements of the system in the RF technology program, and the application of RFID middleware. The application of new technology will efficiently reduce business operational costs and human errors, improve the process of information automation, and advance productivity.
