Wireless sensor network(WSN) consists of a large number of nodes with the features of integrated, data processing and communication function which has the advantages of simple structure, arrangement of dense, strong concealment, low power cost, widely used in military, environmental monitoring, intelligent home fields and plays a significant role in some fields. The characters of wireless sensor network determines that the nodes are powered by battery, so the energy consumption of the nodes directly affects the lifetime of the nodes, so this is an important research point in power consumption of wireless sensor network nodes. Because of the storage resource restricted, limited capacity, transmission capacity is low, apply data aggregation technology with the advantages high speed, low cost and high reliability into wireless sensor networks which has important research prospects. Application of data aggregation in wireless sensor network, by reducing traffic congestion mitigation between the network and improve information accuracy, save energy, prolong the network life cycle, the system is realized by removing data contains invalid and redundant and information of low confidence, then process the data when reporting to the aggregation node.This paper firstly introduces the basic knowledge of wireless sensor network and data fusion technology, then explains several wireless sensor network data aggregation technology, then put forward PITA-MVC model structure based on the structure of human computer interaction design to realize the simulation platform based on VC++ and Matlab, finally focuses on the analysis and design improvement of LEACH algorithm deeply, aiming at the disadvantage of data algorithm, propose an improved scheme of data fusion, and make comparing and analyzing according to the results of MATLAB simulation. Three aspects are included in the improvement of LEACH algorithm: optimization of the number of cluster head nodes, selection of the cluster head nodes and data transmission in multiple hop mode; and the application of data fusion technology in wireless sensor network is divided into three parts: the data fusion of member nodes, the data test of member nodes and the data fusion of cluster head nodes. The simulation results show that the improved algorithm has made some improvements in ascension, and the data fusion technology can reduce the network traffic, and prolong the network life cycle.
