The Design And Implementation Of Score Management Information System Of Aba Teachers College

With the continuous development of computer technology, especially the development and wildly use of computer network technology and database technology, most universities vocational and technical colleges in our country have built a lot of information management system based on campus network. Deployment and application of the information management system has greatly improved the efficiency of teachers’ work and study of students respectively.Aba teachers’ school was founded in 1978. It is a College school of Sichuan province, and approved by the state council of China. After the "5.12" earthquake in 2008, the school moved to GuCheng town, which is located in PiXian county Chengdu. In September 2011, the school finally moved back to ShuiMo town of wenchuan county, where is more than 60 km from Chengdu and about 20 km away from dujiangyan. With the improvement of location advantages and geographical position, the scale of students’ recruitment increases unceasingly. The increasing number of students puts forward challenges on the original score management system. Our school will be upgraded to Aba Normal college, on June 22 2014, the state council has issued the decision on accelerating the development of modern vocational education, all of these pointed out the development direction of our school, namely to the development of applied undergraduate colleges. In order to meet the development needs of the economic and society, higher education schools should calculate more and more qualified and applied talents. In order to fulfill these objects, we should put our focus on skill and practical training for students. Therefore the evaluation system also should be adjusted correspondingly, which makes the original score management system can’t meet the need of now and the future.According to the problems which the original score management system faced and combined them with the actual situation of Aba teachers’ school, the author put forward and develop a new score management system. This system is based on computer technology and network technology. It makes full use of database and WEB technology and it also makes Score management more standard, institutional and scientific in our school. After determining the research target, the author have made detailed analysis and sufficient investigation on Overall requirement, system characteristic, and the function demand of score management system.Then carefully designed the overall frame structure of this system according to the result of analysis and research. on the basis of the system framework and analysis of the actual demand, we carefully designed the database and interface of this score management system. At last we programmed and implement the system according to system design.In terms of the specific technologies when implementing the system, we adopts three layer B/S architecture models and modular design method, and we select PHP and MySQL to develop The score management system. PHP has some significant characteristics, such as Open source, fast developing, multi-platform and efficient, while MySQL also has some features like fast running and secure.The score management system which designed in this subject has four major module: user management, course management, score management and report management. At the same time, each module also has some sub-module with different function. on study this subject, The authors study firstly analyzes the present situation when using original score management system, to collect the problem in the process of use, and the according to the result of analysis,combining the actual needs now and then,we have designed the function,business and data flow other he score management system.then do overall and detailed design to the system,at last to implement it, at last we finish system coding and testing. The new score management system can meet the needs of educational reform and upgrade of our college to original score management system.the new score management system has some striking features, such as score analysis function, easy to management and operation for teachers and students.
