The Design And Implementation Of Score Management System Based On Data Mining Technology

With the development and popularity of network technology,especially the development of internet, the utilization of resources isconverted into a service model based on internet/web rather than atraditional one. Although most schools have already used computerinformation technology and network technology to manage students'scores, the potential information of the data has not been explored because80% of the data in existing score management systems is stored quitesimply.This paper mainly studies the following aspects. First, after analyzingthe current situations of score management systems, it develops a newscore management system for Taizhou Vocational & Technical College(Linhai district), which can make the process of teachers' uploadingstudents' marks convenient and simplify students' inquiries. Secondly,with analyzing the shortcomings in the implementation of scores in existing score management systems, it applies the class field to themanagement of scores, which can greatly cut down the quantity ofdatabase sheets and records in each sheet so that it can in turn increase theefficiency of processing and shorten the time of inquiry. Thirdly, after itstudies some systems related to score management, data miningtechnology is applied to the analysis of students' scores in order toimprove the level of score analysis. Then, through the research or SLIQin decision tree and the investigation of features of students' scores, SLIQis used in score analysis and a decision tree model with professionalabilities is also set up, which can help educational decision-makers andteachers discern the problems in teaching so that the educational plans anddecisions can be optimized by the most effective use of information. Thelast part of the paper is the conclusion of the work and it also looksforward to the promising future of this research field.
