Digital Courseware Management System Based On Multi-layer Distributed Architecture

Learning resources has been widely used throughout educational field because of many technical advantages. But it is also facing some problems such as short of overall planning, quality standard, evaluation system, management platform and so on. So we should develop a suitable management system to meet the actual teaching requirements. And the method of software development based on multi-layer distributed architecture has been approved and supported in many software development environments(SDE). So it can provide the theoretical and practical foundation for the application system’s realization.First, we analyzed application background and existing problems of digital courseware in teaching. And we put forward the general solution that develops the application system based on the multi-layer distributed architecture. Second, we summarized the related theory and technology about the application system’s development such as MIS, SE, SAS, SDE and so on. Third, we focused on the research about requirement analysis and outline design of the digital courseware management system. According to role type of the system users, including student, teacher and administrator, the system are divided into such functions as courseware browsing, searching, learning, evaluating, uploading, updating, study exchanging, quality statistical analyzing, etc. And then we analyzed the overall solution of the system including service process, function system, data organization, encoding standard, development environment, and main technology.Four, we focused on the detailed design of the system. According the design idea and method of multi-layer distributed system, we divided the design into four levels: Model, DAL, BLL, WEL, in each design level we provided related design scheme, image-text and source code of main function modules.At last, we test the entire function in order to discover the problems occurred in the system.And we discussed the next work we should do to improve and perfect the system, and explored the future of software about management information system.
