| Multi-media courseware has much more expressive force in compared with thetraditional instruction. By means of making the best of visual element such as image, animation, color and so on, it can create a colorful and lively teaching environment soas to make the complexity become simple, make the difficulty become easy anddevelop the students' eagerness and fondness of study. Digital image in the coursewareis getting more and more applications in expression and visual design with the adventof the visual age. Many books about multi-media courseware have introduced itsproduction process by the numbers. There are enough description about theory andsoftware by contrast with little introductions about materials especially digital image, while most of the books about digital image tend to explain computer graphics oraesthetic thoughts that there is almost no effective instruction for designers. This paperstudies digital image solely in all aspects for the sake of enriching the theory ofmulti-media courseware and satisfying many designer's practical needs. The main research methods adopted in this paper are collecting and sorting outrelated materials by checking expert's works, searching examples, papers, commentsand experiences on line and analyzing contents by contrasting and investigating toform an applied, special and instructional research summary. This paper starts with thesorts and effects of the digital image, and chapter two pays much attention to more anddeeper ideas according to visual culture communication theory to sum up totalguidance as a whole. Then in the following Chapter three, digital image is carefullyintroduced from the angle of use and software. In the chapter four, design thoughts indifferent multi-courseware are respectively studied based on different characteristics ofstudents and subjects. The last chapter takes The Basis of Photography webcourseware for example and asserts much emphasis on both theory and technologyfrom the angle of art.In course of writing this paper, in despite of it is quite complex to study the wholesystem of digital image, I try my best to make it scientific, comprehensive andconvincing to achieve a suit of effective design methods and principles to offer betterguidance for real practice and contribute a bit to the perfection of multi-mediacourseware works so as to produce positive effect both theoretically and practically. The thesis is written in the hope that it can provide reference for courseware designersand education experts. |
