In the 21 st century, the primary and secondary education career of our education system is growing stronger and more mature. However, most of the primary and secondary schools still deal with all kinds of work with out-dated working systems like manual management, information systems management and so on. This management approach is not only inefficient but also waste a lot of manpower and material resources. Meanwhile, it has been increasingly unable to meet the needs of the rapid development of primary and secondary education management. The rapid development of computer has brought a qualitative change to the information management in primary and secondary schools. Computer-based student information management system aims to deal with a large number of business processes for school personnel. It is mainly used to the information management of students and the overall task is to achieve a systematic, scientific, standardized and automated relationship between students’ information.This school is a secondary vocational school, but it is in the range of primary and middle schools, and its enrollment and students’ information management is consistent with the workload of primary and middle schools. At present, the school has a students’ information management system based on Browser / server mode B/S. Indeed, the system based on the network platform has the convenience and incomparable practicability comparing with the single platform. As long as a server group can establish the appropriate number of functional modules, the system can provide a consistent and unified data services to all levels of users with network systems, which greatly optimizes the software services. However, we also found that the system is developed by professional development company, so security and stability of the system is the actual maintenance and upgrade patch by the company. In this stage, the continuous development of network technology, based on the architecture of each network system. There will be all kinds of loopholes and instability, especially in the technical limitations of the premise of the continuous development of hacking and network equipment of a hardware or software; we need a backup plan which includes a students’ information management system of remote backup capability. It can be a database server failure continues maintenance when there is a problem in the network system. And it has the same function as the system based on B / S structure. Besides, data sharing and consistency should also be made on request, so that the data in the database server and the local system does not appear access. In addition to operations in data backup, in reality, a teacher or staff member of the system is not necessarily in the corresponding technical understanding. What we need is the software for easy use.This research is about the design and realization of emergency plan of student information management of a vocational middle school. It is based on the actual needs of the students’ information management in Kunshan No. 2 Vocational School, Jiangsu Province.Based on windows operating system, the construction of Student Information Management System use C / S model as a systematic develop mode. It uses a SQL Server database as a data storage platform. This system has functional modules such as software login, teachers’ business processing, administrators’ and students’ business processing, etc.
