Polysilicon ingot casting is the basic process of the whole PV chain.And the silicon ingot casting furnace is one of the most important instruments in the PV chain production.Silicon ingot casting use the technology of directional solidition to get high quality liquid silicon,and adjust it to component which fits the PV cell production.Finally,it use the technology to produce the silicon ingot.In this way,the ingot can cut into plate which can be used in solar cells. The research content of the manufacturing technology of the new type of silicon ingot casting furnace is to produce advantaged G6 ingot casting furnace which can charge 800Kg-1000 Kg,based on the technology in and out of China about the ingot casting furnace technology and the ingot casting process and the market requirement.Besides,the content includes producing normal silicon ingot and high effiency silicon ingot and so on.Further more,getting the key technology of the instrument and the silicon ingot casting process and realize the industrilizion of the instrument.In the process of the research of the silicon ingot casting,we analize and design the mechanical parts/the electrical parts/hot zone parts and the process parts to fit the target. Thus,our new type of ingot casting furnace is based on the GT type furnace.We do some research and improvement on the mechanical parts/electrical parts/hot zone parts and process of the ingot casting furnace,then manufacture the new type of G6 silicon ingot casting furnace.In the design of the hot zone,we use software to design the graphite hot zone.Though the installation and commissioning of the instrument and process,we continue adjusting the process to achieve the demand.Though the research and design,we have got the goal we set at first.We success in manufacturing a kind of advanced silicon ingot casting furnace which can produce ingot of 800Kg-900 Kg,the furnace also have space for upgrade to a production of 1000Kg-1200 Kg.At the same time,the production rate reach to 1.0-1.2cm/hr,the enegy cost is less than 7°/Kg,the efficiency is more than 17.2%.Though the research and manufacture of the ingot casting furnace,we decrease the price for purchasing new instruments,and save a lot of money for the company.
