With the growing global energy shortage, deterioration of the environment and the rapid development of the renewable energy, the photovoltaic industry is developing rapidly and has become an important part of the world’s energy. Polysilicon is an important raw material in the solar photovoltaic industry production, and so polysilicon materials become an important raw material for the photovoltaic industry. By providing AC current for graphite furnace heater in the ingot furnace, Polysilicon catamaran ingot furnace heating power supply provides stable thermal field for polysilicon production.This paper describes the significance and status of polysilicon production of domestic production, and then analyses polysilicon production methods. According to the production method and the heating requirements of polysilicon ingot furnace catamaran, two different designs are compared to select a suitable one. Then three-phase AC power regulator circuit theory is analysed, and power regulation circuit transformer volt-second product, harmonic analysis and the impact of the thyristor trigger pulse swap power circuit are introduced.On the basis,the design of the main circuit and output transformer are completed,the system control strategy, software control flow and control hardware circuit are designed, and the interactive interface is introduced.Based on the analysis above, this paper successfully developed a prototype of the polycrystalline silicon ingot furnace heating power supply. The experimental results and the actual operation of the site show that the power system is reasonable, fully achieved the desired design objectives and requirements, and can effectively improve the product quality of the polycrystalline silicon ingot.
