Many customers are not familiar with the payment system process and the electricity consumption information. They could not grasp the basic electricity payment system information. Self-service terminal payment system is gradually extended up for this demand from electricity customers.Due to the special nature of power products, past power marketing often adapt "The transmission is generated first, the payment is competed later" mode. But there are many drawbacks in this marketing mode, such as electricity customers are not able to understand their electricity consumption information in real-time; Many customers with special status are deliberate arrears with electric charge, and a lot of electric charge is difficult to recover for unscrupulous companies in a bad time. Self-service terminal payment system is constructed for the power companies in order to improve the marketing level, improve customer experience for electricity customers, reduce marketing costs. Self-service terminal payment system can be very usefully dispersed customer during the peak periods, improve the efficiency of payment; Self-service terminal payment system can be used for real-time monitoring of electricity consumption. At last this article taking the XILINGOL ELECTRIC POWER BUREAU for example, to analyze the results and effect of self-service terminal payment system. Building the foundation and providing the reference for future’s large-scale use of self-service terminal payment system.
