In recent years, the rapid development and the diversity of applications of wireless communication technology and the number of various types of radio transmitting equipment have been increasing dramatically put forward higher requirements on the radio monitoring, especially for the increasing demand for air radio monitoring. Direction finding accuracy of the traditional monitoring mode which based on fixed monitoring stations and mobile monitoring vehicle will be greatly reduced in the face of the building block or complex geographical environment. The coverage area of the traditional monitoring mode can not adapt to the development of modern communication when the monitoring platform position is low even unable to receive the radio interference signal, so it is the top priority to solve radio monitoring work in complex electromagnetic environment.Air radio monitoring is a technology which is developed from the traditional ground-monitoring. As a supplement to the ground-monitoring, it can moniting and finding to all the regional frequency band and the signal in all direction. The fast response speed, high precision and large coverage area will play a more and more important role in the radio monitoring work in the future.Basing on the analysis of research current situation, research significance and the existing problems of the air radio monitoring and combining with the advantages of air radio monitoring and the simple and flexible characteristics of multi rotor aerial robot, this paper designs a multi-rotor and air radio monitoring system architecture and proposes a kind of multi-rotor and radio monitoring robot. Further more, this paper focuses on the research and introduction of some key technologies.First of all, this paper introduces related theory of multi-rotor and air radio monitoring robot. The theory includes the system structure, the principles of flight and the process of direction-finding.Second, taking the FM radio signal, walkie-talkie signal and air-to-air radio signal for instance, the optimal height of multi rotor air radio monitoring robot is analyzed and verified through experiments.Third, this paper analyzes the existing methods of monitoring and direction finding method. On the basis of this, this paper proposes amplitude comparison direction finding improved scheme which The reference channel Offset Signal amplitude fluctuation and theoretically proves the superiority of this monitoring and direction finding scheme. Further more, it is verified that the air radio monitoring can achieve higher accuracy through experiments.Finally, this paper analyses and researches three methods which adapt to signal source location of multi rotor air radio monitoring robot and signs the planning scheme based on direction finding and locating principle. This paper verifies that the multi rotor air radio monitoring robot has higher positioning accuracy and wider coverage area through comparing with the conclusion of ground-location.This paper analyses and illustrates some key technologies of multi rotor air radio monitoring robot. The research plays an important role on research and application of multi rotor air radio monitoring robot.
