As a journalist, one cannot hold without a reason for devoting oneself to handling and understanding the cause of the newspaper industry. And this reason must be of tight relation with their motivation, attitude and career cognition. It should be acknowledged that professionalism is the key fact that has a big influence on one’s news thought and practice.The second charter researches on the early newsmen who depend on external newspapers and chooses Cai Erkang as an example. Firstly, the essay points to the strike and the revolution led by the time being. we find their helplessness when entering into a newspaper agency for living and their reluctance when being forced to become a journalist.The third chapter mainly discusses the early journalist that occurs because of politics and chooses Liang Qichao as an example. By analyzing through a big amount of materials and contents, people can understand the unique professional thoughts on these political newsmen who have made a great contribution to the cause of the news industry of China. In the fourth chapter, the author researches on the very first newsmen of China represented by Shao Piaoping. We can find early journalism has already been cultivated in their mind and their professionalism has reached to an unprecedented height as well.The three person above are among the very outstanding ones in the development course of the news industry in China. And they have witnessed the quantity development growing from nothing and the professionalism changing from lowest to greatest of the newsmen group in China.
