This paper first explains the motor strong market demand and traditional motor protection defects of electric elements, which leads to the importance of study of CPS. And then introduces the development of the control and protective switching devices at home and abroad. It is pointed out that although now CPS series products despite it has the field bus technology, but manufacturers are not equipped with a cheap PC, which makes the field bus has not been very good to use. Then the paper gives the overall design scheme of CPS monitoring system:1、The PIC24HJ64GP506 is chosen as the control chip, according to the design requirements designs the signal collection circuit, signal conditioning circuit, switching power supply module, phase sequence detection circuit, digital tube driving circuit, memory module, RS-485 module design. And this design completes the software design according to the design requirements, for example, phase sequence detection procedure, procedure of signal sampling, digital tube driver chips, 24C64 driver and the Modbus-RTU protocol implementation etc..2、Designed a cheap PC monitoring device based on PIC24HJ64GP506,the main functions of the device is capable of placing CPS drawer without opening the case, through the drawer embedded display interface control and view all CPS work mode and state. Monitoring equipment selection is a 5.7 inch LCD320240 LCD screen, and completed the driver according to the information.3、MFC designed a PC monitor software based on.Switch electric control and protection system designed in the the sis, including a 128 node with the control and protective switching equipment remote monitor and control and protective switching devices. Control and protective switching device can real-time monitor the circuit of current, voltage and residual current, and has the will after data acquisition processing parameters and set by the user to compare and make corresponding action of protection function. Monitoring equipment and control and protective switching communicate through RS-485 communication bus. The monitoring device can query each node on the control and protection switch fault recording and real-time sampling data, and can be remotely operated control and protection switch to switch on and off.Finally, this paper summarizes the results of this set of control and protection switch electrical system design, the direction of improvement and design ideas are put forward to future products.
