The Research On The Political Life Weekly

"The Political Life Weekly" was the official organ of Beijing prefectural party committee for the CPC(changed "northern district party committee for the CPC" after1925) during the first cooperation before Kuomintang(Kmt) and the CPC(communist party of China), and also was the earliest prefectural party committee official organ in the history of the CPC. It was founded in 1924, and ended in 1927, which took more than two years, faithfully recorded the revolutionary development situation in the northern area of the national revolution period and early exploration of China’s revolution by the members of the CPC. The journal of political comments, reported the propaganda of the major events during the national revolution, but also paid attention to the theory of Marxism and Leninism ideological propaganda. As a party journal, it has played a very important role in conveying the policy of the CPC Central Committee and promoting the northern region of the country cooperation."The Political Life Weekly" published the articles mainly included four aspects.The first was the propaganda of Marxism theory and the Russian revolution. "The Political Life Weekly" paid attention to clarify rumors about Marxism-Leninism and the Soviet Union, through published articles and user-friendly presentation of the original Marxism translated two ways to expand the spread of Marxism among the workers, but also to meet the progressive youth thirst for knowledge of Marxism-Leninism. It was good at using other’s article to give publicity to the Russian Revolution, by reprinted the articles which introduced and gave the present comment about the Soviet Union by someone to disseminate the Russian Revolution,so to encourage Chinese people to rise up. The second was the propaganda of the national revolutionary. "The Political Life Weekly" in-depth made an exploration of dynamic objects and means of national revolution in theory, guided and disseminated the workers’ movement, the student movement in the national revolution, and strongly criticized the feudal warlords and imperialism and oppression of people’s behavior.The third is to maintained and promoted the cooperation between CPC and Kmt. "The Political Life Weekly" has a very sincere attitude in the co-operation between CPC and Kmt. It made a attitude change from opposition to support about the issue "Sun Yat-sen northward", which fully demonstrated the feelings of loyal to the country and never cared about personal happiness or sadness by the Communist Party. The analyses of the situation within the Kuomintang, the concerns of Kmt mass base andrightist words and deeds, the remonstrations of the Kmt leftist, both reflecting " The Political Life Weekly" attached great importance to the work of the KMT, but also exposed the problem that focus somewhat on the Kmt work and sparse CPC’s own building during the KMT-CPC cooperation. The fourth was to report and comment the significant political incident which happened in the period during the national revolutionary movement. A review with sharp and pointed language, far-reaching insight which was the most feature of Political Life Weekly" and made it widely popular at that time. Also it was the biggest political charms. It had an enlightening effect by offering young people political views and political knowledge, which promoted the young people’s awakening, and did a good job at creating a good public opinion environment of the northern region, and effectively promoted the development of the national revolution in North area."The Political Life Weekly" had strong revolutionary. Not only in the north but also in the country, it had a good reputation. It focused on the actual political life. In politics, it promoted the development of the national revolution in the north. In the aspect of thought, it propagated the Marxism –Leninism theory, and expanded the influence of the CPC.
