During the National Revolution, Guangdong was the center and the original place. At the same time, it was also one of the main areas of Communist Revolution's activities. The decision and the work of the CPC in Guangdong Distrcit affected the overall situation of the National Revolution to some extent. People Weekly, founded in Guangzhou on February 7th in 1926 and ceased on April 10th in 1927, was a political publication of the CPC in Guangdong District. As the mouthpiece of dissemination of the CPC in Guangdong District, People Weekly played an important and active role in disseminating the anti-imperialism and anti-feudalism thought, refuting the reactionary propapanda, consolidating and expanding the revolutionary united front, guiding the revolutionary movements of the workers and peasants in Guangdong,promoting the Northern Expedition, and became a bannner of the National Revolutionary dissenmination.People Weekly is a very important document for the study of the revolution in Guangdong and is of high historical value in the study of the history of the National Revolution, the history of the Communist Party as well as the history of the social life in the middle 1920s. In addition, People Weekly is one of the best publications of the local party committees prolateriat had founded in the early time. It had a distinct representation and had an important significance in the study of the early journalism of the prolateriat, especially of the CPC's early political advocacy strategies and the characteristics of the specimens.This paper mainly focuses on all the fifty periods of People Weekly and will take a perspective of the dissemination of the National Revolution and have a comprehensive and systemic study of its contents.This paper can be divided into four parts. The first part will give an overview of People Weekly, mainly focusing on detailed analysis of its background, purpose, editors, publishing and advertising, layout and columns. The second part focuses on the detailed analysis of the content of the dissemination of the Natiomal Revolution. The third part will analyze the strategies used in the dissemination and summarize its characteristics. By comparing it with The Guide Weekly, we are supposed to get a more in-depth understanding of the dissemination'character and mien. The fourth part will evaluate People Weekly, pointing out its historic attribution as well as its shortcomings and the enlightenment it brings to the publicity of today's party newspaper.
