The Research On Jiangsu And Zhejiang Constitutionalists And Estern Times Around The Xinhai Revolution

Before and after Xinhai Revolution,the Jiangsu and Zhejiang Constitutionalists,as a politicial force,played an important role a nd have a crucial influence in the complicated patterns in china.In late Qing Dynasty and early the public of China,Eastern Times,which was one of the three major business newspapers in Shanghai,once inclined to the Jiangsu and Zhejiang Constitutionalists politics,but there was a clear and obvious change process before and after the Revolution,which was also the purpose of this paper to analyze.Researches show that Eastern Times,inclined the Jiangsu and Zhejiang Constitutionalists because of the loyalists influence in domenstic media after the takerover of DiBaoxian.during the Xinhai Revolution,both of them were in the basically same political position.Eastern Times called for the Jiangsu and Zhejiang Constitutionalistsin a series of major activities.Late the Xinhai Revolution,later,as the unravelling of the Jiangsu and Zhejiang Constitutionalists and the personnel changes of Eastern Times,they drifted away.This process of change shows that the "Times" although constitutionalists became the mouthpiece of Jiangsu and Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Zhejiang constitutionalists but because of the structure itself loose, not a firm political stand, so its propaganda effect is weak.
