As the change of the time and the development of economy, the traditional museum tour mode already cannot satisfy the growing needs of audience, and the rapid development of Internet and mobile devices, has provided a broad stage for the new museum tour mode. The major research of this article is to apply the remote display technology to museum mobile guiding system.In this paper, the research work mainly as follows:Firstly, for the problem of the remote display on mobile devices of large images and the response delay, this paper studies a large image display technology based on discrete LOD model in the museum mobile guiding system and its optimization strategy. Through the method based on discrete LOD model, structure an image pyramid model, to implement the remote display of large images. This paper studies a multi-thread asynchronous loading and two-level cache mechanism, and according to the characteristics of browsing large images, we also come up with an integrated cache management mechanism based on dynamic adjustment, the experimental results show that the strategy to optimize the response delay is highly effective.Secondly, for the interaction delay generated by remote rendering method based on image, this paper studies a kind of remote display system framework based on prediction of the implementation. Build a remote display system by remote rendering technique based on image; Define user’s operation and structure a space mapping relation model of user’s operations; This paper uses Lagrange interpolation method to predict the trajectory of user’s interaction behavior, and according to the inertia of user’s interaction behavior, we also present a simpler behavior prediction algorithm based on trajectory segmentation, to optimize the interaction delay of the remote display method based on image; The experimental results show that behavior prediction algorithm to optimize the interaction delay is highly effective.Finally, on the basis of the above technology, algorithm research, we design and implement a set of museum guiding system based on the remote display technical, for the Zhejiang province science and technology project of the research and demonstration of museum mobile guiding key technology, including a client based on iOS and a server system, and apply this system in Zhejiang province museum.
