In recent years,with the improvement of security awareness consciousness,video surveillance system as a force in the security industry is rapid developing. Video surveillance use video technology to detect, monitor fortified area and real-time display and record the scene image.It is widely used in many occasions, such as company, hotel, car parks, crossroads, some even for private house, so it become a hot spot in the research of the present. A wireless network camera with megapixels resolution based on TI’s DM368 has been designed in this article. In this system, Aptina’s HD CMOS image sensor AR0130 has been used in image capture terminal,AR0130 obtained analog video signal after analog gain,A/D conversion,output by parallel image output interface. In the main processor module, DM368 receive the video acquisition terminal access to digital video signal through the image signal interface(ISIF), The internal ISP unit can be adjusted for video image quality,and then encode video signal compression processing through the High Definition Video Image Co-Processor(HDVICP), finally send the video signal to the backend display device through the wireless transmission technology based on WIFI network.Selecting the main chip by comparing the prices and function,based on the system quality,development cycle and hardware costs.The system design is mainly divided into two modules of hardware and software, the system hardware scheme has been detailed designed based on the feature of DM368, including core module, power supply module, image sensor module, transmission module and other interface module.The system PCB has been strictly designed which is in accordance with the requirements, through impedance matching and differential traces to optimize high-speed signal, and the portion of the signal to do so on a long handle.The system software based on the TI Davinci which is developed by IPNC development. The system software architecture includes the Linux operating system and the underlying fundamental drivers. Under this architecture,the main job is to complete the design of image sensor driven and WIFI driven based on DM368.Finally, the real test of this surveillance system will prove that it can achieve thedesired functionality, meet the design requirements.And it is a reasonably available wireless video monitoring system.
