In recent years,with the development of the video monitoring technology towards high-definition and network,the size and storage space of the videos are becoming bigger and bigger,the requirement to the band-width of the transmission of the videos is becoming harder and harder,and so is the cost of its management and operation.In this situation,many scholars made a lot of research in the consideration of there are many repetitive,superfluous video frames which have little useful information.And many Data-Reduction technologies are rise in response to the proper time and conditions,such as De-Duplication technology,video compression technology,and so on.In this paper,we studied a monitoring video device using Moving target detection technology and Key frame extraction technology.This device can delete many video frames which are repetitive,superfluous,fuzzy and can not meet the requirements.We hope that this device can reduce the stress of the increasing video files to the storage space and the band-width,and the cost of the management,operation and finding time of the videos.The research work of this paper is arranged as follows:First,this paper explains the background and meaning of the design of this device.Then introduces the research situation of the technologies the design needed.Second,this paper explains the theories of the technologies of moving object detection and key frame extraction.And it selects an algorithm which is more suitable for this design.This paper described this algorithm in detail,and proves its effect with a experiment.Third,this paper introduces the knowledge of Opencv,Ubuntu Linux,Embedded System,DM368,and so on.And described the steps of the realization of the design,and experiment on it.
