Design Of Embedded IP Camera System Based On DM368

Recently, the concept of construction "peace city" and "the city monitoring" is to monitor urban management and road traffic fully with video monitoring system. The monitoring system will develop to embedded IP camera system pushed by computer technology, electronic technology, communication technology and automation technology.This paper firstly introduces the status of development and development tendency of the video monitoring system, compares the design scheme of embedded IP camera system and proposes a scheme based on the TMS320DM368. Then based on DM368chip, we design image acquisition module, power module, memory module, NAND FLASH module, network module and the hardware interface module. Meanwhile, we construct of the software development environment by embedded Monta Vista Linux (the real-time operating system) to DM368, including UBOOT, kernel and file system.This article analyzes the characteristics of Davinci structure, and achieves video image acquisition and various video coded formats by VPSS provided by DM368which is based on Davinci. It introduces the construction process of network video server which sends the H.264video date flow by RTSP server. Finally, the client plays the real-time video using the interface designed by Visual Studio2008.
