The Construction Of An Interactive Subject Service Platform Based On LibGuides

With the rapid development of information and network technology,The needs of users has also been increased. They are no longer satisfied with the general information retrieval,but hope to find the information they need from the multitude information ocean. As a result,a new service mode- "subject service" was emerged at the historic moment.. Subject service is a high-end service project of library and intelligence agencies. It requires that the librarian should take the user as the core,and go deep into the user’s teaching and research activities. Then they will know about the needs of users, and provide users with more comprehensive professional information and information service. Subject service has been carried out in our country for 16 years,the service has been one of the important works for library to deepen the user service and strengthen the core competitiveness. And the construction of subject service platform is the concrete practice of subject service tenet which provides professional knowledge and active service for a specific organization and users.When the library is building a website,it will achieve better results only on the basis of the good interaction among the librarian, users and platform.. So how to build a good interactive integrated knowledge service platform has become the common need of university library. The LibGuides is just demand the need perfectly. It become the new solution for library to practice the subject service depend on its advantages such as clear content organization、good service performance、interactive、flexible background management. This article hopes to bring some reflection for library to exploring the effective mechanism of the subject service and deepen the subject service through the building and academic research of the interactive Subject Service Platform based on LibGuides.This paper analyzed the development of the subject services platform in China and abroad,the theoretical basis of Interactive information service and LibGuides. and the application of the LibGuides. Combining with the construction of subject service platform in China and abroad,we build an interactive Subject Service Platform based on LibGuides. At first,there has a introduction of the background, significance, theoretical basis of the platform construction; Then, I analysised the interactivity of the platform; Finally,I design and realized the platform,including the system positioning、Structure design and box design of he platform and the realization of some core function of the platform. Among them,the design and realization of the platform is the core of the paper.
