The Design And Implementation Of Baotou’s Public Transport GPS And Video Management System

Currently, the development of Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) leads to enormousimprovement both in the development and application of Internet of Things (IOT) and CloudComputing that connected with it, and in exploration and practical use of such industries astraffic administrative department, traffic police, logistics and so on. However, the informationdevelopment prospects of government departments make higher demands on public trafficinformation constriction whether from the requirements in management level ofgovernment departments or of public benefits.This paper briefly introduces the process of traffic information construction, worldwideand domestic traffic situation and the current situation of Baotou city public trafficinformation. Problems existed in transportation management at all levels, road administrationin enforcing law, service for the convenience of customers and other related departments havebeen analyzed, and through which the functional demands of system have been determined,the design of general structure and function modules completed.Baotou Public Traffic Information Service Platform---the frist-stage project of Baotoucity transportation information construction has two software module subsystems: GPSmonitoring and management system and video monitoring and networking system.First of all, this paper introduces the sources of this subject, the significance ofconstructing information system for public transport, and introduces the situation of somedeveloped countries’ audit information and system. And introduces the achievements andinsufficient of our audit informational construction.Second，the paper gives the demand on function of the transportation informationsystem and the business process of GPS and video management system. Give the detailedanalysis of demand on data management、 data applications、 cloud network、 data acquisition、、data analysis and exhibit.Third, the paper gives the detailed description on the overall design of the systemdesign、database design. And give the detailed designs on the GPS and video managementsubsystem、data analysis subsystem、data acquisition subsystem, the design on the classeswhich involved in the subsystem’s modules.Last, this paper gives the detailed statement on iterative software development process,the VPN network connection technology and system solutions, cloud computing, J2EE、H.264、I/O standard、GIS the key technologies and applications of these technologies in thesystem which involved in the systems development management.The paper is focus on the entire design of the GPS and video system for trafficinformation requirements from a software engineering perspective. There is enormous anduntapped potential in the traffics data. It is hope that other city’s public traffic informationconstruct could get inspired.
