Research On Several Techniques For Audio/Video Rights Management And System Design

With the fast development of information technology, network technology and the rapid spread of computer and intelligent device, digital media especially audio and video has been gradually take over from traditional media, becoming the important carrier of information generation, storage, spreading, sharing and using. However, it is precisely because of it's digitization, in the environment of open internet, people could download, spread, use and even modify at will, so making audio and video rights protection more difficult and challenging. To protect the copyright of audio and video, we need to ensure the use of valid users, avoid the use of invalid user and the illegal use of valid users, in addition, for pirate audio and video, we need to trace it and determine the source of piracy to provide the basis of attacking the piracy.This paper do discussion and research on the encryption algorithm and the partial implementation method for audio and video rights management, and analyze the system, design and implement the client. The main work and achievement is as follows:(1) Do research on RC4 algorithm, analyze and improve for the algorithm, after improving the algorithm, the pseudo-random numbers it generates is more randomness and the speed is faster compared to RC4, so the encryption speed is faster and is more suitable for audio and video encryption which has larger capacity.(2) Do discussion and research for the partial implementation method of audio and video rights management: A method to generate the key contains user information was presented to avoid invalid user; A method to manage authority dynamically was presented to avoid user's illegal use; A method to embed user information watermark dynamically to trace it's propagation path, and to achieve traceability.(3) On the basis of the research for the encryption algorithm and partial implementation method for audio and video rights management above, this paper analyze the system, design and implement the client of the system, implement the right protection for audio and video, it could ensure the illegal use and avoid illegal use, after testing, it could achieve the management for audio and video rights effective.
