Design And Implementation Of Amazon Logistics Line Haul Settlement System

Amazon, a well-known e-commerce company, has launched a very wide range of businesses in China. It also has a complex warehouse networks and delivery lines in China. Cost and efficiency of logistics directly reflect the performance and service quality of an e-commerce company. It is particularly important to build a flexible and accurate shipments transport settlement systems which compute, storage, display a variety of occurrence data of truck transport to reduce costs and improve efficiency.The topic of this thesis comes from the actual project of the Amazon China, mainly to achieve the calculation of the Amazon logistics transportation cargo volume and weight, and gives the line analysis data, provide data support for the transportation cost settlement and truck optimization and the future volume prediction. The system is mainly used by the operating personnel and financial personnel, including line configuration module, data collection module, user management module, calculation module, line query module, download module and report mail sending module.Firstly, by analyzing the present situation of line-haul transportation of Amazon China, combined with the on-site investigation and research, especially the analysis of actual operational processes, this paper summarized the characteristics of e-commerce logistics, analyzed the requirements of Amazon Control Line Haul Invoicing systems, discussed the system target of line haul invoicing, determined to build Amazon Control Line Haul Invoicing system by using AWS and JAVAEE technologies. Then, this paper introduced the preliminary design of the system, and elaborated the logical architecture, computational models and database designs. After that, this paper describes the detailed design and realization of the system. In addition, several UI interfaces of this system were shown and the test case of each function was described. Finally, the paper summarized the content, indicated the effect of the system after lining, summarizes the deficiencies of the system, and also gives some constructive opinions of the future versions iteration of the system. The implementation of Amazon control line haul invoicing system providing reliable data support for operators, financial officers, analysts and other users, optimizing the mechanism of the company logistics cost settlement, improving the transportation efficiency, saving a lot of logistics costs for the company, which has important significance to improve the company’s logistics operation efficiency.
