Lightning is a common natural phenomenon, but often cause serious consequences ofnatural disasters.Such as electric power equipment damage and destruction of buildings, andeven cause fire, wounded people and livestock, and so on, according to statistics, the damagecaused by lightning disasters every year hundreds of millions. Therefore to deepen the studyof lightning, in-depth study of lightning data and positive lightning disasters prevention isvery important.With the progress of science and technology and the development oftechnology, China’s meteorological department had mastered the considerable lightningmonitoring data, on the depth of these precious data management and mining, more scientificand effective use of monitoring data, clear the thunder on the characteristics of geographicaldistribution and time frequency, maximum limit for lightning protection, disaster investigation,work smoothly to provide reliable scientific basis is necessary. But not to map coordinates thelightning and positioning information depth calculation and statistics, makes the lightninglocation data in isolation, not as a whole to study over a period of the lightning occurssomewhere geographic features and space-time distribution characteristics, the data is thewaste of resourcesBased on the above background, this paper puts forward the design and implementationof a set of lightning location information management system based on the technology of mapAPI of subject research, in order to statistics and forecasting of lightning from the dimensionof each data to improve the efficiency of the use of lightning data and using effect, this makessense and necessary.This article first introduces the basic concept of WebGIS and LBS platform features, anddetermining the characteristics of network based on WebGIS and LBS this system adopts B/Sarchitecture.Second, depth analysis of the system implementation process involves the maplocation and image display technology, etc.For the realization of the map location and tagbased on container map covering, on the basis of this article first introduces how to create acontainer and adding a simple map overlay, then on the basis of simple map overlay to solvebig data the problem that how to coordinate positioning and display. In addition, the mapshows the coordinates of the locate request request requires the response, the response in the form of map event trigger event trigger, corresponding to response and the request by theevent trigger.The basic information of the display based on map containers, besides the basicmap rendering need implementation by means of map components such as ranging, eagle eye,toolbar enhancements to assist in this system, enhance the system’s ease of use. Image displaytechnology by using JpGraph positioning results of screening for fast drawing of the graph, inthe form of a pie chart, bar graph or line chart intuitive display related distribution of lightningdata charts and site or time period.In addition to map location and chart display technology,this paper expounds the lightning data prediction algorithm and database query andoptimization methods for technical points.Then based on the technical feasibility of design and implementation of thesystem.According to the business logic to this system framework design, function moduledesign and database design.System can be divided into user oriented positioning and retrievalfunction module and data manipulation module for administrators. Geared to the needs of theuser’s retrieval function module meet users from various dimensions of lightning informationmap location and information retrieval, data manipulation module for administrator meetadministrator for daily maintenance and update data. Finally, the design and realization of thissystem made a review and outlook, summarizes the efforts in the process of thesis writing andsome disadvantages of this system.
