Web Design Of Human Factors&Interaction Experience Studio

In the information age, in order to ensure the advantage position in the fierce competition of talents and scientific research, the laboratories in colleges and universities must make full use of Internet resources to keep in line with international standards. Therefore, the construction of the laboratory website is particularly important. Moreover, as the rapid development of mobile Internet stimulates users’increasing demand to access the website with mobile devices, university laboratory websites also need to provide a better browsing experience for mobile terminal devices.Research topic of this paper is derived from a website construction project launched by Human Factors&Interaction Experience Studio of Hunan University, which the author participated in during the period of graduate school. By optimizing to-be-improved user experience when browsing traditional academic university websites, the project, which is based on the response style layout design, bring forward some innovative design to enhance the attractiveness and information visualization of the websites.Centered on this project, the paper summarizes the whole process of designing, analyzing and researching. At first, a comparison study on the homogeneous website interface design was carried out, then a series of user interviews and research were carried out on the basis of comparison study to exploit demands of target lab website users:university students, teachers, enterprise staff, thus to classify and analyze the demand and set up the users’role model subsequently, the researchers use the user-centered interaction design method to carry out the functionality design, process design, information architecture design, interaction design and visual design of the website; Finally, in cooperation with technicians’efforts in response-style website development, researcher’s participation in the project completed.The Web Design of Human Factors&Interaction Experience Studio, which brings forward innovation and exploration to the promotion of the existing laboratory websites’user experience, meet the demand of mobile Internet’s rapid development. By applying popular responsive design into the construction of academic laboratory website, the low cost and high efficiency browsing of all kinds of mobile devices come into reality, therefore, this research has some reference value for responsive design development of similar products in the future.
