A Study Of Multi-Device Responsive Design Mechanism

With the rapid development of mobile Internet in recent years, the new devices are endless. Devices to access the Internet anytime, anywhere are badly needed. At this point, the same site displayed on different devices has become a major problem.The Appearance of responsive design provides a new solution for problem of cross-device. However, responsive design needs to solve the problem not only the device caused by different device sizes, resolution of various problems, but also solve the different devices use different problem scenarios. In this paper, the author will do in-depth research from the two dimensions.Firstly, how to set up the media query breakpoint, the core of responsive design, becomes a big problem to be solved. The paper summarized and analyzed the current situation and problems of responsive design workflow and media query breakpoint settings. As a result, from a design perspective, the researcher proposed a method that setting media queries breakpoints based on the user experience. Further experiments verified the feasibility of this method. The conclusions can be a guide for media query breakpoint settings.Then, the different devices use different problem scenarios. This paper analyzes the common control types of web and mobile design and refine and generalize, summed up the most basic radio, multi-select function controls in the form of several experiments, analysis of the experimental data obtained by different controls in different situations applicability.Finally, according to research done by two dimensions, the author design a responsive design tools. The design process include requirements analysis, analysis of competing products, prototype design, visual design, design thinking process descriptions. The design is based on science research, hoping for designers in this field to contribute.
