With the development of University’s logistics socialization reform, more and more colleges and universities increasingly began to take the means of computer and network technology to realize the informatization of the management. In order to reduce the cost of the work, improve work efficiency and improve the logistics management level and service quality effect. As the department which contacts with teachers and students every day, the service and management efficiency requirements of food and beverage department is raising. Therefore, it is very necessary to use information management tools in the catering department daily work.The author takes the Department of logistics management catering service center of Beijing Wuzi University as the research object, investigating their daily work, summarizing the system requirements by using UML modeling tools. It designs and implements the university logistics catering logistics management information system by using Java and MySQL. In addition, the article describes the system demanding analysis, detailed designing, code summarizing the testing process and system realization on the basis of the software development life cycle in detail.The university logistics catering logistics management information system is designed to help the university logistics catering department to realize the following field:(1) Standardization of raw materials purchase which provides import and volume, the purchase price, inventory of the stock and the amount of inventory for procurement personnel accurately to make the material procurement process standardized management.(2) Inventory management is efficient and correct, it provides a unified code, and owns functions of shelf life of remind, and reported loss, which ensure accurate inventory information management.(3) Transparent the cost of clearing, so that managers can accurately and clearly see the day income and expenditure and single food cost accounting, help managers timely found problems in the course of management.The actual use of the system would help the university logistics catering department to solve daily raw material purchase, processing and sales and accounting cost management issues, to improve the university logistics catering sector management efficiency and service level.
