Railway high power locomotive maintenance base is our country’s important project inmodernization of railway technical equipment, which is mainly responsible for large powerlocomotive comprehensive to repair tasks and manufacturing capacity. The locomotiveoverhaul of the overhaul base uses the production line as the main maintenance mode. Theimplementation of information technology in management and production is the basicguarantee of the production. The informatization of internal logistics distribution system isextremely important.With the rapid development of economy, great changes take place in the marketenvironment and industry structure and this kind of change needs modern logistics industry asthe support. But when it mentions the microscopic level of the locomotive overhaul baseinternal logistics distribution the ways of traditional production, production command andorganization are difficult to meet the large power locomotive maintenance task presented bythe logistics requirements. With the innovation in modernized management and technology,the need to combine the leading edge computer, network, communication and other ITtechnology rapid development is the basic direction of the development networking inlogistics industry, precision in logistics transport, intelligent in logistics control,comprehensive logistics management.Traditional enterprise logistics system can not realize the customer and vehiclemanagement system,not for vehicle routing, dynamic simulation, and business planning anddistribution analysis and other functions to achieve satisfactory results, especially in aspectsof management and store massive data and so on, the traditional distribution systemprocessing efficiency is not high, and the operation is not flexible enough, this will require anew logistics and distribution system appears, geographic information system (GIS) has good space data management, retrieval, query and spatial analysis capability, as well asexcellent map display capability. So consider GIS technology and DGPS technology, areapplied to logistics and distribution systems to help solve the problem of path panning. Inview of the present logistics distribution system and a series of problems, the GIS and DGPSwere applied in distribution system, realize the moving vehicle tracking, control organization,and command, including: transportation vehicle operating state tracking, idle state trackingand location of state management and so on. At the same time, through the software of controlsystem can realize the real-time data monitoring, historical track playback, map loading utilityfunction, improve the effective management approach. In this paper, based on the GIS modelof VRP and traditional VRP model difference, to consider the establishment of the transportpath to the GIS path network model, finally in GIS geographic information system platform,the design and implementation of the actual effect of GIS logistics distribution system. Withthe overhaul base stock management information system is connected, feedback, transferinventory information, to ensure that the handling operation is effective and the precision.Through the experiment, the actual effect of GIS logistics distribution system comparedwith traditional logistics and distribution system, greatly reduce the total cost of the route,shorten the travelling distance, reducing distribution cost. Because of the distribution has beenset up the transport path. Therefore, solving the optimal routes are real-time feasible, largelyavoided the optimal distribution scheme for routing congestion cannot perform happens,greatly improves the efficiency of distribution of logistics enterprises.Finally, the article gives the basic program of the locomotive overhaul base internallogistic. It is based to create the system framework and establish a preliminary for the designof hardware system and software design.The actual system has been applied in Zhengzhou LanlinElectromechanical Technology Company Limited.
