The Design And Implementation Of POS Payment And Settlement System

With the rapid development of China’s financial payments, credit card payment has become one of themain ways for modern consumers. However, payment and settlement business relates to banks, merchants,agents, the transfer and poor rolling liquidation of the accounting data among customers and so on, so it’s verydifficult to achieve a real-time payment and settlement process, which has a great impact on the efficiency ofthe credit card payment and settlement of banks, merchants, agents and customers.Owing to the lack of researches on the real-time payment and settlement process, this thesis thoroughlyanalyzes banks’ online payment and settlement systems with the thoughts and methods of domain engineeringand tries to do some systematic design work. On the basis of my investigations and the specific businessprocess and actual demand of pos payment and settlement systems, I designed functional modules, such assystem settings module, merchant management module, agent management module, payment data module andliquidation management module, after analysis and comparison. In the system design phase, I fully representedthe systematic function modules by the design of sequence diagrams, and analyzed the specific business anddata processes of the system comprehensively, then showed the interfacial and operated designs of systemcontrol briefly in good order, and finally finished designing pos payment and settlement system. In the systemimplementation phase, after the discussion and feasibility analysis about the arrangement of the system’shardware and software, I developed reusable resources on the basis of domain analysis model and domaindesign model, and then realized the effect of key modules by interface upon Microsoft’s NET platform. In thisway, I fulfilled all the researches on the system according to the design of system and the standard requirementsof implementation.The research of this system not only solved the problem that the traditional payment and settlement wasnot real-time, but also allowed the data information of customers’ debt card payments to circulate quickly andefficiently among relevant users like banks, merchants, agents, so the real-time distribution management ofliquidation of customers’ credit card charges comes true. Although this system is only a very small part of thewhole payment and settlement system, the implementation and development of it should be updated, the systemfaults need to be fixed on time and the operation procedure must be regulated because it’s closely linked topeople’s daily life and there are frequent operational actions and a big volume of business. For example, thethesis tries to improve the standardization and automation of capital settlement by building up standardbusiness process model, and eventually raise the efficiency of banks’ online payment and settlement, reduce thefloat and allow full play to the capital’s effect in economic activities.
